Gareth & Malou’s update September 2024

Our cosy accommodation on the African Bible University campus

Last Wednesday evening, we arrived back from a ministry tour to 3 African capital cities comprising 16 meetings. The vibrancy and energy of the African church is well known and while we often hear it described as a mile wide and an inch deep, that is not universally true. In their commitment to prayer and evangelism, the church there has much to teach those of us in the West. However, a sobering visit to the genocide museum in Kigale left me asking, ‘Are we learning anything from history?’ In a couple of days, we leave again for south Asia. We do not take for granted the ability and privilege to be able to do this.
Thank you for the part you play by your encouragement, interest, prayers and support.

God bless you all,
Gareth and Malou Bolton
