Gareth and Malou 2026 February Update
We greet you from south Asia where we have just arrived after almost 8 weeks in the Philippines of which we spent 6 days in the bush (jungle) with ‘Ethnos’, an OM ministry working amongst 3 different tribes: Tagbanua, Batak and Palaw’an. It was a memorable experience living in a wooden house, eating with a different family each day and speaking to the team as well as to leaders, pastors and ministering in a tribal church. In our wooden home with a special friend who loved life and was unfailingly cheerful.
We each planted and watered a cacao bush which will help future chocolate production
On Batanes, Malou’s birth island, 35 YP squeezed into a room for worship and the Word
I was asked to speak at a Sunday service in a new AMEN partner church building in Batanes
It seemed that everywhere we went, there was a problem due to a lack of space for meetings. Twenty ladies had to be turned away from this small room in which 30+ squeezed in.
