Occasional Update No. 10 November 2021

No, it’s not a lake! It’s a flooded field in Blandford through which we have often walked in the past

I am writing this from Dorset where Malou and I are helping my 98 year old mother who recently returned home following a 4 week stay in hospital after breaking her leg in a fall. We currently have a number of invitations pending for various meetings, especially in Asia and Africa.
I returned Saturday night from Barcelona in Spain where 50 guests with Oak Hall enjoyed a holiday. The nightly ministry was based on some well-known sayings of Jesus and covered issues including forgiveness, rest for the soul, generosity, counting the cost and listening to God. It resulted in some interesting and encouraging conversations.
Prior to that, we had joined a week of open air evangelism in six locations in East Anglia. This is where you really discover where people are at and what they are thinking! In previous years, the response of some had been, ‘I don’t believe in God because of science and evolution’. This time, a number of young people claimed to believe in karma rather than sin, reincarnation rather than resurrection. Many conversations were held and much literature was distributed.
God bless you all,

Gareth & Malou Bolton
