August 2014 update

July 31 2014c
Nuuk, capital of Greenland, with a population of 15,000

‘….but how far will they go among so many?’ John 6:9. Andrew’s question as to how one boy’s small lunch could feed thousands of people seems a valid one. Philip had already tried to do the maths and found it to be a non-starter! However once the resources were in the hands of the Saviour, the outcome should not have taken anyone by surprise. However meagre our own supplies, He can ‘do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine’.

Ephesians 3:20

Following an encouraging and, at times, heart-breaking visit to the beautiful but needy nation of Greenland, we will spend a month onboard MV Logos Hope near the respective capitals of S   Korea and Taiwan. S Korea has 6 of the 10 largest churches in the world. Among various ministry opportunities, Gareth will deliver a short devotional series on some of the parables of the Lord Jesus. Thanks for travelling with us in your thoughts and prayers.
