Ocassional Update No. 11 December 2021

I first visited Asia 40 years ago this month with OM. It became the catalyst for AMEN, marriage & much ministry

‘The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us’. John 1:14 or as Charles Wesley expressed it, ‘Our God contracted to a span, incomprehensibly made man’. While in society and life there is much uncertainty, constant change and some imponderable questions, we are humbled and encouraged when we look into the manger and understand again the wonder of it all that God in Christ came to rescue, indwell and change us. We wish you all a blessed and very happy Christmas.

Dec 8 OM UK devotions: ‘Love…is not easily angered; it keeps no record of wrongs’. (1 Cor 13:5b)
Dec 10-19 AMEN shoebox distribution and ministry in ROMANIA

Janet, AMEN secretary, with some of 140 AMEN shoeboxes collected by our church. Approximately 2000 are destined for Romania this month.
3000 plus many children (above) attended the annual convention that AMEN partner Naphtali organises in the Eggon Hills in Nigeria while….
……many fewer met for the service in Sevenoaks, Kent, on Remembrance Sunday. Some members were involved in a procession outside.
One of the best books (IMHO) published this year. It details the significant impact Christianity has had upon UK culture and world history.
